IES Calvià will start next year (2011-12), for the first time in its history, the European Sections Project wich is meant to help our students to improve their English skills.
This project integrates learning of different curricular contents and foreign language, which is an objective within the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This document states that all European citizens should acquire two languages of the European Union in addition to their mother tongue.
The subjects and teachers* involved in the project are:
1º ESO: Musics (Rosa F.)
2º ESO: Education for Citizenship (Gaël T.)
3º ESO: Experimental Techniques (Marilén R.)
4º ESO: Physical Education (Emilio I.)
* with the help and advice of the Department of Foreign Languages.
